About Luke: Professional Dog Handler & His Akita Aurora
Dog Trainer in London wearing a raincoat interacts closely with a light-coloured dog.

LUKE

Luke has shared a unique bond with canines from a young age. His journey into professional dog training officially began when he opened Zorza Dog Training in 2024, but his passion for helping dogs learn and thrive started much earlier with his family dogs. This early experience laid the foundation for his future as a skilled dog handler.

In 2022, Luke's expertise aquired his first dog Aurora, an Akita. He was certified by Will Atherton before honing his skills  with Liam McArthur at LMK9 & Melissa Isidoro at PawsAminute. He then went on to study under Simon from MuttNutt, who continues to be his mentor to this day.

Luke’s philosophy as a trainer goes beyond simple commands; it’s about fostering a deep connection and making things clear for dogs and owners. As a dedicated proferssional, he focuses on improving communication and trust between owners and their dogs. Through continuous learning, Luke stays updated with advancing methods of how to train dogs.

AURORA

Well... where do we start.

Luke aquired Aurora in at the start of 2024 as a puppy. The car journey home was 4 hours long and she slept the whole journey, hence why she was name after the sleeping beauty, Aurora.

Aurora is an Akita like no other — a blend of regal elegance and sparkling personality. While the breed is known for loyalty, strength, and quiet dignity, Aurora adds her own touch of sunshine: bubbly, curious, and endlessly affectionate with those she trusts.

She may have the royal stature of a classic Akita, but her heart is pure goofiness. Bouncy, playful, and endlessly curious, she turns every moment into an adventure — whether it’s zoomies through fields or cuddles on the sofa, she does things in the most dramatic way possible.

Aurora is more than a companion — she is a reminder that true majesty comes with heart, trust, and a little bit of mischief.
